I love cake smash sessions because you really get to see baby's personality shine through. It's so fun watching them dig in and make a mess.
Sometimes during a session I will just let baby do their thing while I snap away. Other times I interact with them it really depends on how the session is going.
A lot of times during a cake smash your baby will not have any interest in their cake. This is totally normal! It's always my goal to at least get them to play with it and look like they have smashed it. I always have a couple of tricks up my sleeve, and in the end we always get some great photos.
